Ahead of the 2017 Gibraltar Darts Trophy (European Tour 5), which will be its fifth edition, Sam Barnard provides all the stats you need to know about the PDC Pro Tour event for Darts World!

Taking place from May 12-14 at the usual Victoria Stadium, in front of the jaw-dropping Rock of Gibraltar, 44 of the 48 competitors are now confirmed – with four home nation qualifiers to be decided on May 11.

The likes of defending champion Michael van Gerwen, Gary Anderson, Phil Taylor and Raymond van Barneveld are all absent from this year’s edition, but there are still a host of top names such as Premier League stars Peter Wright, Adrian Lewis, James Wade and Dave Chisnall present.
